What are the common issues with paper tray customization

Paper pallets, also known as pulp molding, are made of pulp and have good shockproof, impact resistant, anti-static, and anti-corrosion effects, and are more conducive to the export of manufacturers' products. The paper tray is made from various waste materials such as cardboard boxes and newsprint, and is made from white pure wood pulp. According to customer requirements, the paper holder can be customized to a large extent according to customer preferences by customizing CNC molds for molding. Because the materials used are mostly cardboard boxes, newspapers, etc., this is a secondary utilization of resources.

Paper pallets can be used in many industries, such as industry, agriculture, healthcare, etc.

1. Industry: Inner lining packaging for household appliances, mechanical parts, electronic products, lighting, etc.

2. Agriculture: Used for fruits, poultry eggs, and agricultural nutrition bowls.

3. Medical supplies: mainly used for disposable medical supplies in hospitals and battlefields, such as paper urinals, paper bedpans, etc. Compared with plastic and stainless steel products, its advantage is that it can be broken into paper fibers and discharged into the hospital's disposable sewage system to avoid bacterial cross contamination.

Paper trays are currently a very environmentally friendly and practical new type of packaging, so many products in various fields are gradually using paper trays as packaging, and paper tray packaging usually needs to be customized according to their own products. Below, the editor will share with you common questions about paper tray customization customers!

1. Why can't you make the desired color?

The dyeing of paper trays is mostly based on the original pulp, and water-based dyes are added during the pulping process. The variation of pulp concentration with production progress can also cause changes in dye concentration. 2、 Most dyes are sensitive to temperature (during the drying process, the color also changes with the temperature of the drying line. When the mold temperature is between 150 ° -250 ° during hot pressing, the dye also changes at different temperatures). In summary, products with high color requirements should not be dyed.

2. Why are there small cracks on the surface of this product?

When the paper tray is formed, the pulp fibers are naturally adsorbed and agglomerated layer by layer, and will not flow out in some grooves, resulting in different designed standard thicknesses at different positions after the paper tray is dried. Then, when subjected to strong external forces during high-pressure molding, the outer fibers at the uneven thickness of the inner and outer layers will fracture, presenting small cracks from the surface. This phenomenon does not affect the strength of the paper tray, so it is acceptable in the industry.

3. Why are there significant differences in the hardness of different paper pallets?

The basic shockproof and buffering principle of paper pallets is achieved through the use of a loop structure and reinforced ribs. Therefore, different design structures of the same pulp material will have different shockproof strength, and the texture will also vary when touched. The use of different pulp materials for the same model of mold will also reflect different texture when touched due to the varying length and shrinkage characteristics of pulp fibers. So before selecting raw materials and design solutions, we need to let engineers know the seismic standards that need to be met, so that different loop structures and reinforcement positions can be designed according to seismic requirements during design.
